Pedagogy
The association Valtenbergwichtel e.V. is a certified provider of independent social assistance for young people. This means that through its work it helps young people up to the age of 27 to grow “into a self-reliant and socially competent” personality. This is defined by law (Child and Youth Welfare Act, §1, Article 3).
This youth work is carried out by social workers and social educators in various forms and at different locations in the Bautzener Oberland region and often in cooperation with each other: open youth work, mobile youth work, school social work.
